Birmingham quintet Swim Deep announce their fifth album Hum, out June 19 via Submarine Cat Records, alongside lead single ‘Pieces Of You’ — a raw, defiant blast of distorted alternative rock. Rejuvenated and sounding more confident than ever, the band channel grit and melody in equal measure.

Thematically, Hum follows on from There’s A Big Star Outside, exploring the aftermath of personal change through songs about loss, family, and responsibility.
