Curse of Lono’s third album, People In Cars, explores Felix Bechtolsheimer’s struggles with grief, addiction, and loss. After losing his father, uncle, and ex-partner in one year, the album reflects themes of drugs, death, and depression. Inspired by The National and Leonard Cohen, its alt-country sound combines vivid storytelling, personal flashbacks, and dark, cinematic tones.
