CURSE OF LONO

Curse of Lono’s third album, People In Cars, explores Felix Bechtolsheimer’s struggles with grief, addiction, and loss. After losing his father, uncle, and ex-partner in one year, the album reflects themes of drugs, death, and depression. Inspired by The National and Leonard Cohen, its alt-country sound combines vivid storytelling, personal flashbacks, and dark, cinematic tones. Drawing from his battle with heroin addiction, the record is both cathartic and creatively rejuvenating, making it Bechtolsheimer’s most powerful work yet.
